A 20% Final Withholding Tax (FWT) is applied to player winnings exceeding ₱ 10.000. This tax applies to all verticals, including Sportsbook and Casino, and is based on gross winnings, not net profits.
What are Gross Winnings?
Gross winnings = Net Winnings + Stake
- Tax is applied per transaction, at the point of settlement, not at withdrawal
- Only real money winnings are subject to taxation (bonus money is not taxed)
- Tax applies only if gross winnings exceed ₱ 10.000
The tax deduction isn’t displayed during betting or casino play; refunded tax amounts are handled in the backend.
